Authentic South
After an ambitious night of driving down to South Carolina last night, we stopped in the town of Florence and grabbed a hotel. The hotel was, well....interesting. In true spirit of this trip we went to the one where we found the cheapest price for the four of us. As you might guess with hotels you definitely get what you pay for. Regardless, we were just needing a bed and a shower so the cheap price was our only criteria. Our hotel, of course not having any sort of continental breakfast, we had to look for some food before we hit the road. If you've ever driven through the South you've probably noticed all of those Waffle House restaurants along the interstate. We ventured in and had some pretty spectacular waffles. It did not disappoint. We're on the road now about halfway through South Carolina, the sun is shining, the weather is warming up, and we're looking forward to Florida!
